Fortyogó Traditional Szekler Bath and Sauna

The Brețcu Mountains surround the village of Peteni, where a cold mineral water bath (called Fortyogó) awaits you, which is best reached from Imeni. This CO2 saturated bath also serves as a wet mofetta. In addition to the traditional Szekler bath, you will also find a wood-heated Finnish sauna. For a snack, feel free to use the picnic pavilion. In the northern border of the village, in the valley of the Borvíz Stream (Mineral Water Stream), a good-tasting mineral water gushes up. It is recommended as a drinking cure for people suffering from stomach, intestinal, liver and urinary diseases. Useful information: An appointment is required to use the sauna.
