ShuShu Sauna offers a community sauna experience, presenting itself as a movement where health meets happiness through building connections. The service provides sauna sessions in various locations, often described as breathtaking, with views of the ocean. It is a mobile, traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna that operates at beaches or tidal pools. The experience includes opportunities for detoxification, rejuvenation, unwinding, and stress release. Patrons can engage in a hot-cold method, known as the Nordic Cycle or Viking Bath, by alternating between the sauna and a cold plunge in the ocean. The facility emphasizes community and connection, aiming to be a space for sharing stories and fostering a slower way of being. Beyond community sessions, ShuShu Sauna is available for private hire for events such as retreats, birthdays, weddings, and festivals. They also collaborate with wellness-focused brands and individuals for co-created events at cold plunge locations. The sauna is heated to approximately 85-105°C. Guests are advised to bring swimwear, two towels, a reusable water bottle, flip-flops, and warm clothes for after their session. The environment is designed for relaxation, meditation, and conversation, allowing individuals to sit in silence, stretch, or gaze at the ocean through a window. The service promotes an inclusive philosophy, welcoming all individuals regardless of gender, sexuality, race, body type, or age.
