OPEN SAUNA MAPRörbäcks Camping is a small, family-run campsite located on a peninsula outside Råneå in Norrbotten, in the far north of Sweden. It bills itself as the northernmost campsite in Sweden with sea bathing and a natural deep harbor. The site is set on a pine heath right by the water and is run by Martin and his family. Accommodation options are simple: around 90 pitches for caravans and motorhomes with or without electricity, tent spots, three basic cabins, three rooms, and moorings for boats. On the activity side, guests can swim, fish from the shore, a jetty, or a rowing boat, paddle a canoe or SUP, play minigolf or disc golf, and walk trails out to a boulder field. There is also a sauna. The reception doubles as a small shop selling snacks, drinks, and basic groceries. During the high season it also serves burgers, waffles, hot dogs, and toast, and there is a beer and wine license. The site is open from early March to late September or early October.
